Point & Line Wines originated from a serendipitous dinner shared by wine industry veterans on a late August evening in 2014. With a collective fondness for the Santa Barbara wine country, we envisioned the development of a wine brand, one that would reflect our affinity for both great wine and art. The next morning we harvested grapes for our first Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir.
Our wine labels are inspired by Kandinsky and his Bauhaus exposition Point and Line to Plane, wherein he examined the dynamic relationship of pictorial elements on a material plane. Just as Kandinsky believed the rhythmic tension in art naturally stimulated communication, we hope our wines similarly resonate with you.
